I’m not sure what the correct pronunciation of Wata is, but in my head, I’m reading it as “what-a.” Like, “Man, what a sneaker!” And what a sneaker these Veja Wata Sneaker are. Summery as all get out, the classically styled kicks are responsibly made in a Fair Trade factory in Brazil, have an organic cotton upper and natural, Amazonian rubber sole, and, minus the VAT / plus international shipping, cost about $90 (Wata deal!).
