It’s the last Friday of the month, and you know what that means: time for a new installment of N’East Illustrated (I know, I’m just as excited about it as you are). The eternally enchanting Christine Mitchell of N’East Style has put together yet another stellar batch of #menswear illustrations. See them all out after the jump. Click here to see previous sets.

Friend Jeffrey Thrope of Cold Splinters recently wrote an amazing piece about camping at Big Bend National Park for Garden & Gun Magazine, and my other good friend Mikael Kennedy took photos to accompany it. Can’t get better than an incredible project two friends made together! I highly recommend picking up the August/September issue, as well as keeping an eye on Cold Splinters for photos that didn’t make it into print. Beware though, once you read the article, you’re gonna want to plan a trip there of your own.

The guys from Topo Designs are some of the nicest I’ve met in the industry, and it was great chatting with them about the outdoors, fishing and their incredible line earlier this week at Capsule. Their designs are functional and durable and the colors and patterns they use are bright, retro and fun. This beauty is the Sling Pack in their infamous Duck Camo print.

The talented photographer Justin Tuck took this photo of James Jean who is a dear friend and one of the first people I met through this crazy world of blogs, twitter, etc. He is a gentleman of true style, a gifted stylist and intensely modest. Check out his site The Mod Rockers.

Best Made Co. had an incredible set-up at this week’s Capsule menswear show, which included a massive canvas tent that housed metal racks filled with their many incredible wares. While I’m pretty stoked on everything they’re doing right now, I decided just to illustrate their Ditty Bag, as, coincidentally, that’s the name of the N’East Style Tumblr.

I really wanted to pick up these Monitaly shorts when Nick Grant (a new contributor to Well Spent) posted that they were on sale over at Mohawk General Store. I love the vibrant patterns. Heads up, there are still some sizes available, in case you want to grab a pair.
