I’ve talked about my love of button-downs in this column before. Well, my most well-worn one is officially on its last legs. And as sad as I am to see it go, I’m just as excited to welcome its replacement into the fold: a silk button down from Texas’ Esby.

Esby Apparel was founded by Stephanie Beard in 2014 and designs “quality clothing for women and men with menswear mentality – and by menswear mentality, we mean we like to buy well-made clothes and wear them often.” Yes to that!

Esby Apparel is based in Austin, and the collection is made in LA and Dallas with an emphasis and fit, comfort and wearability. The Stella Sleeveless Button Down looks even better than the beloved button-down it will be replacing, and I can’t wait to welcome it – and half a dozen other pieces from the brand’s SS18 collection – into my closet.
