A Kind of Guise’ new eyewear collection is made up of five styles, and each is named after a place I’m mildly intimidated to visit. There’s the Beirut, Bogota, Dakar, Jakarta, and Palermo. Fortunately, the natural acetate frames, certified Carl Zeiss lenses, 100% UVA and UVB protection, German construction, and surprisingly decent prices make it easy to overlook (get it? because glasses) the minor anxiety the names induce. And, if I do somehow wind up in any of those places, I’ll at least have some cool shades to hide behind.
