These boots are made by Hanwag, a nearly 100 year old German footwear company that I just discovered existed, thanks to the good dudes at Huckberry. Apparently, the company, which was founded in 1921 and still produces most of their range in Europe, is best known for, “sustainable, durable, high-quality, handcrafted workmanship; custom lasts designed to fit the natural shape of your foot; fewer seams for increased comfort; [and] Resoleable construction.” All of which sounds pretty great to me. Equally great is that Huckberry is selling these beauties for 16% through Friday. Two colors are available.
