Chances are, by the time you finish reading this sentence, the bag pictured above will have already sold. That’s the one (and only) downside to Alice Saunders’ exquisitely crafted Forestbound bags – they can be damn hard to get your hands on. Made exclusively from salvaged and reclaimed fabrics, Saunders’ totes, weekenders and duffels lovingly pay homage to the textiles from which they’re made, with each bag retaining some mark or indication of its material’s former life.

Fortunately, while the above is no doubt long gone by now, Saunders will happily work with you on a custom bag that resembles one that’s already been purchased. Or, if you prefer, a bag that’s entirely of your own design (though, I’d recommend that she design some of it too).
