It’s Saturday morning, the time when you used to relax and enjoy your favorite cartoons as a kid. But now you’re a big kid who uses your own child as an excuse to walk around aimlessly looking for little digital pocket monsters on your iPhone. He doesn’t understand CP, or when to properly utilize a Lucky Egg in order to level up, but boy does he love catching some damn Pokemon – almost as much as his daddy.

A full day’s Pokemon hunt requires clothes that’ll keep you cool and comfortable in the summer heat. A loose tee, relaxed trou’ with a crop that’ll let your ankles breath, a nice pair of sunnies in case you see someone you know but want to avoid because, well, you’re a grown man hunting Pokemon. And, it’s always good to have an umbrella on hand too. But the most important part of any Pokemon hunting kit is the footwear. And only Italian-made, veggie-tanned leather runners that can take on the many treacherous terrains we’ll encounter looking for that super rare one with the name we can’t pronounce will do. As long as I’m cool, and he’s not begging to go home, we’re gonna have a (poke) ball.
