I make a lot of jokes about fatherhood in this series. And, if I’m being honest, with all the work bullshit I deal with on a daily basis, having to handle a 3-year old on top of that can sometimes be a little grating. But, there really is nothing more rewarding then spending time with my little man. Especially on day’s like Father’s Day, when he and I get to be out-and-about together – getting (and completely wasting) breakfast, playing in the park, going to the zoo. Father’s Day is a chance for me to take a break from all the non-dad responsibilities that weigh on my brain relentlessly, and just focus on raising this little boy into a stand-up man. It’s a chance to just be “dad.” Not even Cool Dad™, although, I mean, that part kinda comes naturally. Happy early Father’s Day to all the dads out there. I hope it’s as Cool™ as mine.
