Cool Dads™ | Father’s Day

Welcome to Cool Dads™, a series in which our resident cool dad, Nick Grant, helps us all get dressed.

I make a lot of jokes about fatherhood in this series. And, if I’m being honest, with all the work bullshit I deal with on a daily basis, having to handle a 3-year old on top of that can sometimes be a little grating. But, there really is nothing more rewarding then spending time with my little man. Especially on day’s like Father’s Day, when he and I get to be out-and-about together – getting (and completely wasting) breakfast, playing in the park, going to the zoo. Father’s Day is a chance for me to take a break from all the non-dad responsibilities that weigh on my brain relentlessly, and just focus on raising this little boy into a stand-up man. It’s a chance to just be “dad.” Not even Cool Dad™, although, I mean, that part kinda comes naturally. Happy early Father’s Day to all the dads out there. I hope it’s as Cool™ as mine.

My Father’s Day Picks:

Gitman Vintage S/S Band Collar Long Shirt

A Bathing Ape Ape Head Cap

Engineered Garments Ghurka Shorts

Drifter Kids Back Pack

Birkenstock Boston Clog in Navy Suede (with matching Birkenstock Arizona Sandals for Ollie

  • Watcho

so does that Gitman cover the shorts? I have a couple of long shirts like that and would love to rock them w/ shorts but I always think it might give me an unfortunate maternity look.

I’m 6’3, so this shirt would stop about mid-thigh for me and the short would stop mid-knee cap. That’s an idea situation for this particular look I’d be going for. I also own Rick Owens shorts that go well below my knee I’d wear this with, sooooo….¯_(ツ)_/¯
