Cool Dads™ | Family “Vacation”

Welcome to Cool Dads™, a series in which our resident cool dad, Nick Grant, helps us all get dressed.

Rest. Relaxation. A break from your everyday problems. That’s what a vacation is supposed to be. But when you have a child, well, it isn’t QUITE that easy. Still though, it’s a hell of a lot better than not going somewhere. So, a family trip back home to the D.C. area means taking the good (food, drinks, family and friends) with the bad (traffic, not being able to step away from the madness and, in this week’s case, the heat).

We’re going to be spending a lot of time walking around outdoors, shopping, visiting museums, and what not, so I have to keep myself from melting with the right attire. It’s not so much about the style as it is the features. Linen. Drop crotch. Open-toed. These are the qualities that’ll get you through a 90 degree day unscathed. And as long as little man has a good time, and everyone is happy (including my giblets), then a happy vacation it shall be.
