I don’t think any one shoe has rotated in and out of my closet more than the Clarks Wallabee. Maybe the Air Force 1? But Wallabees have always held a very special place in my heart. The quality. The comfort. The cultural impact. The fact that they can literally go with anything. Nothing beats a good ol’ pair of Wallabees. Unless, of course, they are made in Italy using some of the world’s softest suede from famed British tannery, Charles F. Stead, or some absolutely batshit crazy good tortoiseshell-patterned pony hair. THEN, things are kicked up a notch, and I need multiple pairs to stay in my closet at all times, never leaving my rotation again.
