Growing up in the D.C. area, we had certain staples in our wardrobe, like throwback jerseys, fitted caps, and Nike Foamposites. While my style has since changed dramatically – so much so that I wonder WTF I was thinking back then – the fact that I had the stylish foresight to pick up on rugby shirts is astonishing. And I’m happy to carry them into my old-assness with Battenwear’s Pocket Rugby Shirts. The versatile, long-sleeved shirts are made in Canada out of a sturdy cotton and feature a concealed placket and contrast collar, which I feel is a heavily slept on detail that people need to appreciate more because we used to make sure the shirt and contrast collar matched perfectly to our multi-colored ‘Posites. That’s when you knew you were SUPER nice. Might have to bring that mindset back with these joints, which are $219 at END.
