In my sick world, I justify purchases by telling myself I’m buying “staples,” usually followed by the “this is the last one of these I’ll ever need” bit. It’s an endless cycle. And it doesn’t help when Apolis comes along and names one of its blazers “Standard Issue.” I mean, an unstructured, 100% cotton twill blazer that’s made in the US? With functional cuffs? That’s versatile enough to be dressed up or down? It doesn’t get more staple than that. I may have just added one to my cart, but it’s totally the last blazer I’ll ever need.
