Alex Crane Kite Jackets

I was never a fan of kites. Maybe it’s because I grew up in a city, and you need a lot of open space to really get a kite going, which we definitely did not have. Or, maybe it’s because kites are stupid. I mean, why don’t I go kick a can and roll one of those old-timey hoops with a stick, while I’m at it? These Kite Jackets from Alex Crane, on the other hand, are pretty great. They’re made in NYC out of washed European linen and have Brazilian Corozo buttons and all the standard chore coat details. Way, way better than an actual kite.
