I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by it’s cover, but I just can’t help it with these Patrik Ervell Standard Jeans. I mean, sure, the breathable cotton twill is great, and the made-in-NYC construction is top notch, and the subtle detailing of the gray suede patch and blank white tab on the back pocket are super cool. But it’s how the jeans look, with their slim-straight leg and slight taper that makes be throw $126 in ones at my computer screen and yell TAKE MY MONIES AND GET ON ME! And besides, if you never judge books by their cover, how will you ever fall in love at first sight?
