It’s funny how your tastes change as you get older. When I was a younger man, I would have looked at these US-made New Balance 998s and thought, “ugh, way too chunky.” Now, I look at them and think, “damn, I bet those are real comfortable.” Seriously though, I bet they are. Plus, they’ll look great with my new walker. I know what I’m spending my next social security check on. And more old jokes at my own expense.
