I am ashamed of myself. Not for the reasons that everyone else is generally ashamed of me, but because I only own one piece of A Kind of Guise jawnz, even though they’re one of my top 10 brands. Possibly top 5. They just do not get the amount of respect they deserve. Take these Palu Parkas, por ejemplo. These classic parkas are handmade in Germany from some super high-tech polyamide- and polyurethane-blended fabrics from Korea and Italy. Just phenomenal. I feel like the Cobalt poly-cotton version is begging for me. And they’re on sale for $221 – $292, so I have no more excuses. Maybe I’ve convinced myself I don’t look as cool as their models, which I’m always intimidated by? Yes, that must be the reason.
