In Latin, “cirrus” means a ringlet or curling lock of hair. How that applies to a slim-fit insulated jacket, I have no idea. Regardless, these Cirrus Jackets from Finisterre are pretty great. They’re made in Portugal. They’ve got a wind and water resistant, recycled and recyclable nylon shell, polyamide lining, and Primaloft Sport insulation. And, they’re thin enough to use as a mid-layer, but warm enough to wear on their own. You could say they’re cirrus-ly awesome. Sorry.
