I know we don’t talk about that Beaverton, OR sneaker brand #onhere, but the Air Force 1 is, and always will be, one of my favorite silhouettes. They transcend time, trends and genres. So seeing one of my new favorite shoe brands, Filling Pieces, doing a very sleek silhouette that mimics the AF1, but with nappa leather uppers and an in-house custom sole – it let’s me know they, too, enjoy the classic and want to see it live on in a sustainable, ethically-made way. And the $226 price tag isn’t too far off from *that* brand, so I see no reason not to convert.
