It seems as good a time as any for a little more drool-inducing goodness from the Epaulet EP’s Range, don’t you think? Today’s produit convoité: the U.S.-made British Khaki Rivet Chinos. Crafted from a two-ply, 180 thread-count, mercerized English cotton twill, the pants are as tough as any pair of jeans in your closet, but, at half the weight, far better suited for (late) summer wear. Details are thoughtful and many; highlights include natural cotton twill tape on the leg seam, a “single-curtain” cotton waistband to keep your shirt tucked in, and a hidden front coin pocket that’s appropriately sized for cards and cash, so you can leave the wallet at home. And, speaking of your wallet, the BKRC’s cost a good $20 – $50 less than most of the comparable pairs out there (you gotta love a brand that includes equitable pricing in its list of core values).
And, in case khaki isn’t your thing, or, you’re just looking to double your fun, the Rivet Chinos also come in an equally fetching Navy version.
UPDATE: Mil-spec Olive Drab and Camo versions now available too.
