Dyer & Jenkins Lot No. 003 Jenkins Jeans

For all of the crap Kickstarter has helped bring into the world, there is one good thing the site has done, and that is enable the creation of more consumer-direct start-ups. By eliminating middlemen and selling directly to customers – and only manufacturing as much as is being demanded by those customers – these new labels are able to offer high quality goods for much lower prices. Case in point: the Lot No. 003 Jenkins Jeans from Kickstarter alumni Dyer & Jenkins are made in the USA out of Cone Mills selvedge denim, have a natural leather patch, copper hardware, chain-stitching on the waist and hem, and only cost $125 a pair. They almost make up for all the bad stuff that’s come from Kickstarter. Almost.
