Birkenstock Bostons are my favorite shoes that I don’t own. I had a pair of Londons for all of 5 minutes, but they looked ridiculous on my size 12 clodhoppers. That said, I’m confident these Yuketen Bostonians won’t have the same effect. Why? Because they’re artisan-made in Mexico with veg-tanned leather, and have a crazy rubber crepe wedge sole that’s wrapped in braided jute. All of which makes them TOTALLY different from Birkenstock Bostons, so they’ll definitely look good on me this time, which means picking them up for $220 is a really good decision on my part.
