I know that “summer jacket” is kind of an oxymoron, so I won’t try and sell these Nunk Summer Cotton Jackets from Norse Projects as such. Even though they’re made in the EU out of “summer cotton” – an Italian cotton / nylon blend fabric – and unlined, I still wouldn’t recommend wearing one on a typical summer day or night. I don’t think I’d recommended any jacket for that. I will, however, recommend this jacket for an atypical summer night and just about every other day and night during the other nine-odd months of the year. Especially now that they’re on sale for $175 (down from $292). So don’t think of these as summer jackets, think of them as all-year jackets you got a great deal on during the summer.
