N’East Illustrated, Vol. 21

I’m not sure where I originally found this image of santa on a motorcycle, but I came across it again this month while digging through folders of photos I’ve saved for illustration / stationary ideas. He’s pretty rad. I’ve got him on my Gents pinterest board.

We’ve had a decent amount of snow in the North East this past week. Reminds me of the epic winters of old when snow would fall from November ’til April. And nothing beats a pair Danner Boots in this type of weather. Walk sturdily and steadily through the un-shoveled streets with these secured on your feet.

I really liked the crop of this photo by Scott Schuman. What jumps out to me is the puddle instead of the clothes – how the water engulfs one shoe and skips out in front of the other. I do love the tonal navy outfit and dark green leather dunks too, though.

There’s nothing better than a superbly snuggly sweater, especially one made in Scotland from 100% virgin lambswool. Thank you Norse Projects for making this Sam Sweater, now let me go buy one for my husband so that I can borrow it from time to time.

This shot by Christopher Fenimore epitomizes my buddy Antonio’s effortless style. I doubt you’ve ever seen an Italian from Vermont who dresses better. I’m assuming the suit is Eidos Napoli, which he helms as the creative director.
