Did you guys know that the son of the guy who founded Danner Boots has a shoe company of his own? It’s called Crary Boots. It was started in the late ’70s. It’s also based in Portland, OR. And, apparently, they make some of the best custom footwear money can buy. Unfortunately, Crary’s customs are well out of most peoples’ price-range (boots start at $1,000 per). But, last week Crary launched a Kickstarter to help them fund a new consumer-direct collection that’s going to be priced at $300 to $350, and, they’ve already tripled their funding goal. Pretty cool news. And some really cool boots. Check it out.
