The original price of this Selvedge Chambray Work Shirt from Chimala was $402. Why? I have no idea. Frances May, the seller of the shirt, says it was “created with the best selvedge fabrics by the finest Japanese artisans,” but unless those fabrics and artisans imbued the shirt with some special power that makes you orgasm every time you put it on, that still seems way too high. Fortunately, the shirt is now on sale for $160 (less than a similar shirt from EG or Gitman), and that seems like a fine price to me – especially for a shirt that’s created with the best selvedge fabrics by the finest Japanese artisans.
