To be honest, I’m not entirely sure why Wings + Horns named their 100% cotton twill Westpoint Chinos after America’s most famous military academy. I mean, the pants are made in Canada. They’re way, way slimmer than standard military issue. And their features – brogue button fly, side slash and jetted back and watch pockets – don’t match up at all. Read More »

Hi Brad. I was wondering if you could do a post on peacoats?
It would be my pleasure Seungjai. Some personal favorites are after the jump.

It’s funny: I’m the only blogger I know who still thinks it’s inappropriate to wear sweatpants in public, and yet, I’d happily wear the hell out of this sweat blazer. Go figure. The Three Button Blazer from Wings + Horns is handcrafted in Canada out of 100% cotton jersey. Read More »

Funny how tastes change. As recently as a week ago, I would have sworn that you’d never catch me in a pair of slim fit cargo pants (or any other kind of cargo pant for that matter). Then, along come the Moleskin Utility Pants from Canada’s Wings + Horns, and just like that, I can’t think of a pair of bottoms I’d rather wear more. Vancouver’s Roden Gray has just knocked 30% off its remaining stock of Wings + Horns organic sweatshirts. Each top is expertly crafted in Canada from exclusive terry fabrics. Sizing is on the smaller side, so make sure to take that into account when ordering. And, uh… yeah. That’s about all I can think to say; great sweatshirts, at a less face-palm inducing price than usual. Get at ‘em. And have a great weekend. Read More »

The Fleece Sports Jacket from Wings + Horns is made in Canada from a recycled polyester / cotton blend. A cross between a sweatshirt and blazer, the FSJ is a great soft-shouldered option for those cool summer nights when you want something a little more dressed up than a cardigan, but are still looking to keep it casual. Canada’s Roden Gray just knocked 30% off their remaining stock, and sizing is limited. Have a great weekend. Read More »

I realize the price point on this thing is pretty rough – at least for anyone in my tax bracket. I’m also aware of the fact that it’s one of the few pieces from the brand that isn’t made from organic cotton. But, on the other hand, look at it. The Canadian-made Tiger Terry Button Down Cardigan from Wings + Horns is just one of many excellent pieces from the brand’s much-lauded SS10 collection. Read More »
