Made from 100% organic cotton, the shirt is breezy as can be and soft as all get out, making it ideal for the summer swelter ahead. Velour’s AW10 shirting is now live on the label’s site, and it’s looking to be one of the brand’s strongest collections yet (that is, if you can ignore the model / seemingly Twilight inspired photography). Made almost entirely from organic cotton (only three of the total fifteen are made with conventional), this season’s range is also the Swedish co.’s most eco-friendly to date, earning it full double-whammy status. Fabrics range from baby-butt-soft flannels, to medium-weight oxfords, to airy poplins, and though some of the detailing is a bit more daring than it has been in previous outings, overall, understatement remains the name of the game. Yet another top notch shirting option from Sweden’s Velour, the Craig Shirt’s distinct yet minimal details are just enough to give it a subtle pop, without overpowering its overall timelessness. Have I been sleeping on Velour for the past five years, or is it that the brand is just now really starting to come into its own? Either way, their SS10 collection is hands down one of the best of the season; entirely effortless, yet wholly on point. The Ralph shirt is made from 100% organic cotton and comes in two of the summer-iest plaids you could ever hope to find. Cut slim but not suffocating and finished with a shrunken collar, the shirt has just enough going on in terms of its design to look current, while still maintaining an overall timelessness.
