Joshu+Vela XL Boat Totes


What’s great about the XL Boat Totes from Joshu+Vela? Everything. They’re exceptionally well made (handcrafted by the designer in San Francisco). The materials are aces (24 oz. selvedge canvas, veg tanned leather, mil-spec steel hardware). And, they look fantastic (seriously, like hang-a-portrait-on-your-wall good looking). Joshu+Vela Zip Backpack


I feel like describing the Zip Backpacks from San Fransisco’s Joshu+Vela as just “handmade,” doesn’t really do justice to all of the work that goes into making them. From vat-dying the canvas, to hand-cutting the leather, to casting the hardware in custom wax molds, nearly every step of the bags’ fabrication is a process unto itself.
