These Short Mevi Jackets from Arpenteur are made in France out of a 100% cotton gabardine fabric that is “water resistant without being chemically treated.” So, what did they treat it with, magic? I mean, is that even possible? Cotton that’s water resistant all on it’s own? Actually, you know what, I bet it’s the density of the weave that makes the fabric water resistant. Too bad. I was kind of hoping they did use magic.
