Gustin American Chinos

Oh snap. Gustin, our favorite purveyor of crazy affordable premium denim, is now making crazy affordable premium chinos too. Aptly named the American Chinos, the trousers are cut and sewn in the USA out of 100% cotton twill from North Carolina, and feature all kinds of fancy(-pants) details, like a chambray lined waistband, corozo button fly, bar-tacked slash pockets in the front, and buttoned welt pockets in the back. And – here’s the kicker – they’re only $85 a pair. I wasn’t kidding about crazy affordable. Two colors are available.

Only $85 to fumble around unbuttoning at a urinal?!

I have two pair of jeans right now, and both are button fly. You get used to it really quickly, and then you don’t notice the difference.

Can’t really complain at this price, but don’t expect a $200 product if you decide to go for them. From my own experience with one pair of Gustin denim, I would just invest an extra hundred and go for the guys who charges more but doesn’t compromise on the production.

What happen? Did the pants explode? Did they rip when you…looked at them. Did the disintegrate when you thought about them?
