Here’s one for the nerds and the bargain-hunters. The Slim Tapered Jeans from Japan Blue are made in Okayama out of an array of vintage-shuttle-loomed Japanese selvedge denims (that’s the nerd part). Despite their pedigree, they only cost $150, making them cheaper than most US-made equivalents (that’s the bargain-hunter part). Plus, they’ve got a great slim-but-not-skinny fit and some nice-yet-subtle details (that’s an everybody part).
