Grenson Fred Boots

Some of my favorite British imports: the Beatles, Harry Potter, Doctor Who and these Fred Boots from Grenson. By slapping a Vibram wedge sole onto a brogue upper in a not-so-subtle nod to American workwear, the world-class shoemakers have created a boot that’s comfortable, casual yet classy and fit for everyday wear. Take your pick between brown or burnished tan, and at twenty-percent off, both are a bloody good deal.

Everyone who purchases any shoe with a Vibram wedge sole will regret it in 2 years. What an awful trend, and a misguided attempt at style that ruins a good boot!

  • Jon

How do the Grenson brogues fit? I heard they fit large. Thanks!

  • Guy

Oh ya totally obtainable only a months rent!

@Guy – $230 for the month? Where do you live?

  • Josh

If you really regret the vibram sole in a few years just replace it. The beauty of goodyear welting.

Gold star for Josh (and I’m not being sarcastic).
