Left Field NYC FW12 Chelsea Jeans

And, just when I thought Left Field NYC’s slim-fit Chelsea Jeans couldn’t get any better, these two beauties come along and shift my whole damn paradigm (at least, in regards to their denim). Made from Cone Mills selvedge indigo canvas, and Cone Mills “Reserve” green heather-fill selvedge denim, the new FW12 Chelseas combine a stellar fit, bomb-proof American construction and some seriously cool fabrics. Definitely looking like a one of each situation.

    Hi, brad.

I usually wear size 30 in Levis 501, unis, etc. You memtioned that LF runs very small and you should size up 1 or 2 inches. should i go with 31 or 32 in chelsea jeans?

I’m thinking about getting a pair of chino too, same rule of thumb?

@ Sean – Usually with raw denim you’ll want to buy 1 – 2 sizes down from your trouser size because of how much they’ll stretch, but with LF you’ll want to buy the same size. So, I wear a 32 in Unis’ chinos, and a 32 in LF’s denim (as opposed to a 30 in Rogue Territory or 3Sixteen). As for LF’s chinos, it depends on the fit. I’m a 33 in their Miner chinos, but a 32 in their Tailored.

    Hope that helps,

    bb

Hi, brad. Is the tailored chino slimmer than the miner? you meant you wear 32 in miner and 33 in tailored right? Thank you.

Hey Sean, flip that. The Tailored Chino actually has a roomier waist than the miner. I’m a 33 in the miner, 32 in the tailored, 32 in LF denim.
