These are great – are you going to do a round-up of slip-ons again this year?
Thanks Meaghan. I hadn’t planned on doing a slip-on hunt. But, I’d be up for it if the interest is there.
I’m a fan of Shoes Like Pottery canvas sneakers..but they’re a bit hard to find in the states
@ Tim SLP’s only domestic stockist is South Willard, and they’re pretty much sold out at the moment. Otherwise, I definitely would have included them.
Thanks,
bb
@brad – well, I’m interested at least! I wore holes through the soles of the slip-ons I had last summer…
I like the first tennis shoe because of the lower sole. Thanks!
Thanks for this! I’ve been searching for a great pair of white canvas sneakers for a few weeks now. I’ve beaten up my chucks, and figured I could try for something new this time around. The IOAN sneaks are calling my name.
So timely for me, I came here from the “Male Pattern Baldness” blog and have been in need of a sneaker upgrade. Quick observation — you don’t list the ubiquitous Tom’s. Is it because they’re played out, because as slip-ons they’re not really “sneakers” in your opinion, or do they not meet the Well Spent standards of “honestly crafted”? Just wondering. Love the site.
