I’m not usually one to post on a $40 pair of socks, but these are pretty incredible. The 100% cotton CHUP by Glen Clyde Socks are woven in Japan on vintage stocking frame machines. Because of the intricacy of their patterns (which are based on various indigenous designs), and the limitations of the machinery, only 20 – 25 pairs of the socks can be produced in a day – about a third of what other facilities turn out. Whether or not that justifies the price, I’ll leave up to you to decide. Either way, they sure are great looking.
