Snap ‘n’ Wear #300 Quilted Nylon Vest

The #300 Quilted Nylon Vest from New York based workwear specialists Snap ‘n’ Wear is cut and sewn in the Bronx from polyester-filled Nylon Taffeta. Substantial enough to wear as an outer layer, yet slim enough to still fit comfortably under a jacket, the vest is a nicely versatile option for the colder months ahead (and by “ahead,” I mean basically already here). Five colors are available, and the price per is almost too low for its own good (almost). Don’t forget to size down.

For price and purchase info, visit Army Navy USA.

Nice. Wish it had snaps instead of a zipper though.

Would seem a little more in-line with the brand name too.

I had my eyes set on the Western Mountaineering Flash vest, which seems to be in a class of its own. This vest however is 1/5 of the price. But I still want the flash vest.

You seem to know you way around obscure stockits of American made goods, do you know any shops that carry Gung Ho/Stan Ray/Earl Apparel?

I enjoy checking your blog on a daily basis, but I tend to forget to compliment on your hard work.

    Hey Simon,

    Thanks for the kind words.

In the US, you can get Earl’s from Seven’s Paint: http://sevenspaint.com/search/results/429e1b8f4d331f6faa0b459972d6104b/

They don’t have ecommerce, but I’m pretty sure you can all in.

Your other option will be to order them from Japan through Rakuten:

    http://global.rakuten.com/en/search?k=gung-ho&tl=551177&f=2&sm=2

    Hope that helps,

I have ordered Style 100 thermal lined quilted vests for years. Have given others your website info so they could order also. NOW I can’t find the perfect vest for outdoor workers. The nylon shell vests ride up and b/f you know it the darn thing is sliding up around your chest. Our rig drivers HATE the nylon shell b/c of this problem. Thank You for your time.
