Billy Reid Wilson Shorts

I’m a little embarrassed to admit it, but I don’t actually own any Billy Reid. Between receiving a slew of awards, having near celebrity status in the blogosphere, and his whole 110% made in USA thing, I feel like I should have at least one piece by the designer to call my own. Fortunately, thanks to the super-sale currently underway at the BR site, it’s looking like now’s a good time to right that wrong. The Wilson Shorts are handcrafted in the USA from an array of summer-weight, 100% cotton fabrics. There are nine colors / patterns in total, all of which are marked down to a you-might-as-well-buy-two $54 per.

Those look great! Aside from their shorts, is there anything else you recommend?

    Hey Matt,

I’ve heard a lot of great things about BR’s suiting.

I’ve been following br’s work for a little while now, and I am a bit disappointed that his products for j. crew and k-Swiss are imports.

    I share your disappointment.

    Brad,

The suiting is phenomenal. I own two of them and the tailoring is immpecable. Only other suit I’ve owned with better tailoring is Simon Spurr. Also, most of Billy’s shirting is now made in Italy. I’m not complaining but I did like the “Made in the USA” philosophy. Then again, the Italians know how to do shirting.
