The 6″ Boots from Illinois’ Xtratuf are made in the USA from 100% neoprene rubber. Designed for use in extreme conditions, the shoes are “triple dipped” for extra strength and flexibility, and are entirely seamless, so no water – or hazardous chemicals – can get in. On top of having a tough-as-nails exterior, the boots also come equipped with cushioned insoles and arch supports, so they’re comfortable too (enough so for all day wear, apparently). Several shaft sizes are available in addition to the 6″ (which is also known as the “Alaskan sneaker”), and the co. makes a handful of insulated winter styles too.
