Soludos x Opening Ceremony Espadrilles

I don’t usually love a lot of Opening Ceremony’s output, but these are pretty fantastic (yes, I too have hitched a ride on the southwest / ikat bandwagon). Made in collaboration with NYC’s Soludos, the summer espadrilles are crafted in Bangladesh in an audited, fair labor factory using natural jute and cotton canvas. Finished out with a rubber sole, the shoes are a prime flip-flop alternative for the beach-bound, though you could probably get away with a few city-wears too. They’re also fairly affordable, at an easy $35 per. And for any of you that are digging on the espadrille look, but find the OC patterns to be a little too outlandish, the Soludos site offers a handful of equally handsome, though far more subdued styles.
