Post O’Alls Stripe Shirting Jacket

The Stripe Shirting Jacket from Japan’s Post O’Alls is expertly crafted in NYC’s garment district from a shirting-weight, 100% cotton fabric (the name don’t lie). Built like a brick sh–house and detailed out the wazoo, the SSJ nicely pays homage to the Industrial Revolution era garments on which it’s based, without being too anachronistic about it (ie, it don’t look like a costume). Though not the cheapest item to ever be featured ’round these parts, I would say that between its fit and construction, the jacket is worth what it costs, even if it doesn’t appear that way in the less-than-stellar product shots (seriously though, blurry much?).

I think I see a pocket…
