Maybe I’m going a little overboard here (not that this would be the first time), but I feel like with their Hatteras Bow Tie, Pierrepont Hicks’ have managed to cram everything that’s good and comforting about summer clothing into one tiny, perfectly executed package. Deadstock cotton seersucker on the one side, repurposed plaid cotton shirting fabric on the other, light as a feather and airy as an ocean breeze (yeah, way overboard). Like all PPH bows, the Hatteras is handmade in NYC’s garment district and is both fully adjustable and self-tied (which means you do it yourself – like a real man). And, for those of you who aren’t particularly “into” bow ties (seriously though, what’s your problem?), the Hatteras also comes in a two-tone classic version, meaning your neck wear prejudice need not keep your from experiencing PPH’s awesomeness.
